Peachtree Theater Company is an organization that brings professionals in the performing arts together with youth ages 9 to 16 to engage in life-enriching creative challenges. Our mission is to offer theater arts-education programs to public and private children s service organizations with a particular emphasis on life-challenged youth in under-served communities.
Ojai Valley Youth Foundation is a non-profit organization that addresses youth issues through connecting community resources and involving teenagers in positive opportunities to make a difference with their lives, influence their future, and benefit the entire community. We offer after school programs in employment, leadership, career training, mentoring, and community service.
Ojai Valley AYSO - Ojai Valley's American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Region 147 is part of AYSO Section 10, Area W, which serves nine regions in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Region 147 itself serves all of the players and parents living in the beautiful Ojai Valley. Our players are dedicated to excellence, and our coaches, assistant coaches, team parents, board members, and other volunteers are trained and certified and are second to none.
Serendipity Toys started as a family operated business in 1979, largely from a desire to offer the community a source of high quality toys that would engage children in constructive play. We view our toy store as an active agent within the community. We do not carry "war toys" and avoid products that promote violence. We strive to stock our shelves with playthings that have lasting play value and encourage the use of imagination.
Ojai Art Garden Gallery - the grounds are beautifully landscaped with a sculpture garden and art pieces from various artists serve as decoration both indoors and outdoors. Located in the Ojai village, the Gallery and Workshop resonate the creative talent and relaxed attitude of the local area. It is this unique feeling that visitors enjoy, away from the stress that is associated with their day-to-day environments.
Weil Tennis Academy, located in beautiful Ojai, Southern California, is the most prestigious year-round tennis boarding academy for sectional, national and international junior tennis players on the West Coast. With our High Performance Tennis Program focused on INDIVIDUAL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT and COLLEGE TENNIS PLACEMENT, our ability to train and compete in Southern California and a track record second to none, Weil is prepared to take you farther than you ever believed possible.
Our Kids Foundation was formed in 1999 to bring hope to children who are in a place of no hope. Usually bound by illiteracy, violent norms, abuse, drugs many young people today find themselves left behind in a negative circle of failure and despair. It is our goal to reach out to such children and give them a new positive vision for living into a life of possibility and success.
Boy Scouts Ventura County Council - the purpose of the Order of the Arrow is fourfold:
* To recognize those Scout campers who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives
* To develop and maintain camping traditions and spirit
* To promote Scout camping
* To crystallize the Scout habit of helpfulness into a life purpose of leadership in cheerful service to others
Wheeler Gorge Visitor Center - located just 8 miles north from Ojai on beautiful Highway 33 at Wheeler Gorge, the gateway to the southern Los Padres National Forest, the Wheeler Gorge Visitor Center is the first dedicated visitor center in the almost 100 year history of the Forest. The Center operates under a permit from the Forest Service. Since opening in June 2001, the Center has served over 15,000 visitors.
